entry Japanese at Wuxi port

Abstract: Objective To investigate the excessive radioactive events of entry Japaneseat Wuxi airport, and to analyze the diffusion factors after theJapanese nuclear leakage, the scope of influence of pollution tothe environment and the probable damage to the people. Methods Field epidemiology investigation,meteorological epidemiological analysis, radiation damage diagnosisand treatment of radioactive contamination to radioactive excessiveentry people were conducted. Results Two cases ofradioactive excessive staff took whole body shower with thededicated radiation protection of shampoo, shower liquid fordecontamination. Body surface indices returned to normal levels,but also the surrounding population and enviroment will not haveany negative impact. One of them need to take iodine tablets, ther-ray values were still up to 4 μsv/h at thyroid area andprothoracic area. Conclusion The entrypersons over radioactive incident were caused by Japanese nuclearleakage. Wuxi airport found inspection of nuclear pollution in thedaily. It doesn’t constitute a hazard to crowd around theenvironment after effective treatment. It is important to ensurethe safety of frontier ports, the health of the entry-exitpersonnel and the stability of society.
